Heart and mind are the two forces inside us. Heart is the dreamer and the one that longs for things. For most part, it is like a child wanting things without thinking too much. Mind is the robot which does the optimization of things, and for most part makes sure we are safe and looked after. In deciding what you want in life it often happens your mind overrides what your heart wants with logical arguments. However, the trick is to decide purely with your heart and dont let your mind screw with what your heart desires. Your mind would want to take charge by looking at pros and cons, and realistically talking, most of us deep down desire things which sound ridiculous or are not realistic to begin with. Often mind will win and you end up choosing not the option your heart wants the most, rather negotiate to something in between. This in between is a good place as heart is happy and mind knows it is doing its job of “protection” and looking after. But that does not mean your heart would be quiet. It will b for a while but it is a child and it will scream for what it desires the most again. This can result in unhappiness as you would be moving towards something which you somewhat want, not truly what you will say worthy of exchanging your limited time on this planet for. Now if you have already pointed your compass to something you chose after negotiation, it becomes difficult to make a U-turn. The trick is to ask your brain to stfu when really choosing want you desire, no matter how ridiculous, and then once your mind has no option to negotiate, it changes its position. It realizes that the compass is set for the most difficult thing and the only options on the table are either achieve that dream or fail. Once this is internalized, you will see mind working now in optimizing the route to getting that. It knows the only safe place left is you achieving that and there is no back up option, it puts all its calculations in finding routes and plans to get there. It quits talking possibilities and works to make the probabilities. It of course will suggest middle grounds whenever it gets a chance to sneak some good enough option, it is for you to know that your heart is the compass and mind is the crew and the ship. If you stay true to the core focussed and work hard, you will either get there or die trying. But that journey will be the most exciting  journey you will be and if you make it, it will be just a bonus. After all success is just few moments, it is rest of the time what state of mind we live in. If we know we are going after something which truly gives you a kick, we will be scared/struggling/working/striving/trying/temporarily down after small set backs/whatever else an Olympic athlete/Broadway actor/entrepreneur/dreamer goes through as part of the journey. But not sad. Live.

To grab onto the courageous and bold moments of your day and with that attitude asking yourself what is it intuitively you want the most. And then what comes to your heart or mind, protecting it from rest of the scared and rational moments of the day, and similar kind of people. Looking at the real small probability and accepting to walk the thin line to get what your heart deedrown desires, because if it is trulysomething bolgathered are millions who want the same. Now it’s about staying the course, being patient and working hard everyday to beat the odds slowly and steadily. A life of full fledged war and chase is a life fucking full of life.  Aim at the top and go and be willing to die literally and chances are very few remail then in the chase for the gold.
